Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na problematiku přeshraniční spolupráce mezi Ústeckým krajem a Svobodným státem Sasko v období 2007 - 2010, a to především na spolupráci realizovanou v rámci programu Evropské unie Cíl 3 na podporu přeshraniční spolupráce 2007 - 2013 mezi Svobodným státem Sasko a Českou republikou.
