Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou spojenou s trendem masového uvězňování žen ve Spojených státech amerických. Práce analyzuje historický vývoj tohoto trendu a na základě statistických údajů rozebírá zvyšující se počty vězňů od druhé poloviny 20. století.
