This master thesis focuses on German literature from 18th to 19th century, preserved in the Museum in Chomutov. It includes a description of the museum and its library. Important writings and local authors of that epoch from the museum collections are presented. Předložená magisterská práce se zabývá německy psanou literaturou nacházející se v Muzeu Chomutov. Práce zahrnuje deskripci muzea a jeho knihovny. Ze sbírek muzea jsou představeni významní regionální autoři společně se svými díly. Tato práce zahrnuje také komentovaný překlad vybraného díla, které se týká Ústecko-teplické dráhy.
