Anotace:

This thesis examines the relationship between agility, work flexibility, and work-life balance in agile project management within the software development industry. This study addresses a notable gap in the literature by examining how work flexibility mediates the relationship between agility and work-life balance, providing new insights for researchers and practitioners. The results indicate that agility has a positive impact on work-life balance, accounting for almost 14% of its variance. Agility improves employees' capacity to balance their professional and personal lives by promoting autonomy and adaptation. Moreover, work flexibility serves as a crucial mediating factor, enhancing the beneficial impact of agility on work-life balance. This study offers actionable recommendations for firms, such as the integration of agile methodologies with adaptable work regulations to enhance employee satisfaction and well-being. These findings enhance our understanding of utilizing agility to optimize workplace dynamics. Sub-sequent research may expand upon this study by investigating cultural and organizational differences to enrich understanding of agility's impact on improving work environments
