European Economic Integration and the EU Position in the Global Mega-triangle

Abstract:

Tématem diplomové práce je evropská ekonomická integrace a postavení EU ve „světovém megatrianglu“. Cílem práce je přiblížit čtenáři vývoj nejvlivnějších světových ekonomických center a jejich dnešní vzájemné postavení na poli geopolitiky s prognózou do budoucnosti. Historie se v určitých konturách opakuje, stejně jako ekonomický růst a pokles a odhalování příčin tohoto vývoje, což je dalším cílem diplomové práce. Protože je dnešní globální situace složitá a komplikovaná a vyžaduje komplexní pohled a přístup, práce je pojata z ekonomicko-politicko-historicko-filozofického hlediska. Diplomová práce je rozdělena do pěti kapitol, ve kterých jsou rozebrány klíčové motivy a vývoj evropské ekonomické integrace, vývoj ekonomiky Spojených států amerických a Číny, jakožto tří dnes nejvlivnějších světových ekonomických center. Důraz je kladen na jednotlivé stupně evropské integrace a vzájemnou polohu, provázanost a závislost evropské a americké ekonomiky. Těžištěm diplomové práce je 3. kapitola, kde je definován pojem „světový megatriangl“ a prezentována jeho významná a relativně rychlá změna z tradiční podoby USA-EU-JAPONSKO na jeho aktuální podobu USA-EU-ČÍNA.

Abstract:

The theme of the thesis is a european economic integration and the EU position in the "Global Mega-triangle". The aim is to inform revers about the most influential global economic development centers and their current relative position in the field of geopolitics with the expected future forecast. History repeats in certain contours, as well as economic growth and decline, and to identify the causes of this development is another aim of my thesis. Due to the fact that today's global situation is complex and complicated and does require a comprehensive view and approach, the objective work is conceived from the economic-political-historical-philosophical perspective. The thesis is divided into five chapters, in which key themes are discussed: the development of european economic integration, economic development of the United States and China, as the three most influential current world economic centers. Emphasis is laid on the different stages of european integration and the relative position, coherence and interdependence of european and american economies. The focus of the thesis is third chapter, where the notion of "Global Mega-triangle" is designed with a large and relatively rapid change from traditional forms of US-EU-JAPAN into its current form i.e. the US-EU-CHINA.
