Abstract:

Bakalářská diplomová práce „Tanec očima vybraných současných estetiků“ analyzuje teorie tance několika vybraných současných teoretiků. Zabývá se komplexním popisem tance jako výrazového prostředku, a to z hlediska takových estetiků, jako jsou Beardsley, Margolis, Carroll, Kaeppler, Banes a další. Dále se věnuje úvodu do estetiky tance, kde čerpá především z teorií McFeeho nebo Beardsleyho a snaží se objasnit problematiku týkající se estetiky tance či vymezení estetických teorií v současné angloamerické estetice. Dalším bodem, kterým se zabývá, je myšlenka tance jako umění, přičemž se zaměřuje na napodobování jako základní rys tance, na vymezení pojmu múzických umění, na umění ve vztahu k tanci či na tanec jako umění v anglosaských zemích. V další části objasňuje teorii tance jako akce, ve které se věnuje především improvizaci a interpretaci, akci jako součásti tanečního pohybu nebo pohybu a pohybujícím se tělům tanečníků. Také se zabývá potěšením ve vztahu k divákovi a expresivitou jako důležitou součástí tanečního projevu. Porovnává rozdílné způsoby nazírání na tanec a snaží se přiblížit tanec jako umění, které má určitou estetickou hodnotu. Metodou textové analýzy zpracovává myšlenky vybraných estetiků, například Grahama McFeeho, Helene Thomas, Noëla Carrolla, Monroe C. Beardsleyho, Sallyho Banese, Kevina F. McCarthyho, Francise Sparshotta a dalších.

Abstract:

Thesis "Dance Through the Eyes of Selected Contemporary Aestheticians" analyzes the theory of dance at several selected contemporary theorists. It deals with a complex description of dance as a means of expression and such in terms of Aestheticians, such as Beardsley, Margolis, Carroll, Kaeppler, Banes, and more. It also discusses the introduction to the Aesthetics of dance, which draws primarily from theories of McFee or Beardsley and seeks to clarify issues regarding the definition of the Aesthetics of dance and aesthetic theories in Anglo-Saxon countries. Another point which deals with is the idea of dance as an art, focusing on imitation as a basic feature of dance, definition of the Performing Arts, the arts in relation to dance and to dance as an art in Anglo-Saxon countries. The next section explains the theory of dance as an action, which is primarily devoted to improvisation and interpretation, an action as a part of the dance movement or the movement and moving bodies of dancers. It also deals with pleasure in relation to the viewer and with expressivity as an important part of speech in dancing. It compares the different ways of looking at dance and tries to approach the dance as an art that has some aesthetic value. The method of text analysis processes thoughts of contemporary Aestheticians, for example Graham McFee, Helen Thomas, Noël Carroll, Monroe C. Beardsley, Sally Banes, Kevin F. McCarthy, Francis Sparshott, and others.
