Charitable foundations of augustinian monastery in Brno in 17th and 18th century
Abstract:
Bakalářská práce si klade za cíl prozkoumat vztah zbožných nadací augustiniánskému klášteru u sv. Tomáše v Brně a hudby v témže klášteře v 17. a 18. století. První část je věnována klášteru, jeho dějinám a hudební tradici. Část druhá se zaměřuje na samotné nadace, zkoumá je a hledá možná spojení kvality hudební produkce a zbožných nadací.
Abstract:
This bachelor thesis focuses on the relation of charitable foundations to augustinian monastery of st. Thomas in Brno and quality of music in 17th and 18th century. The first part focuses on the convent, its history and musical tradition. The second part concentrate on foundations, and focuses on possible links betweet the quality of musical production and foundations.
