Tato práce analyzuje a porovnává moderní filmové a televizní zpracování slavné legendy o králi Artušovi a především její ženské postavy. V původních verzích tohoto příběhu jsou ženské postavy víceméně prezentovány jako vedlejší, častokrát jsou odsunovány do pozadí a nedostávají tolik prostoru k rozvoji. This thesis analyzes and compares modern film and television adaptations of the legend of King Arthur and especially its female characters. In the original versions of the story, these characters are more or less presented as secondary, often relegated to the background and not given much space to develop.
