Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá převodem kulturních referencí v seriálu Simpsonovi z původního anglického znění do českého dabingu. Těmto převodům se věnuje zejména z pohledu technik užívaných pro převod kulturních odkazů v dabingu obecně a analyzuje tak kulturní odkazy ve třech epizodách ze třech různých sérií tohoto seriálu. Analýza se věnuje jak rozčlenění kulturních odkazů dle technik, tak vysvětlení této volby technik a převodu samotného, tedy vysvětluje význam analyzovaných kulturních odkazů. Díky výběru dílů z různých sérií tohoto seriálu práce také mapuje, zda je v užitých technikách v daném časovém horizontu dvaceti pěti let zřetelný vývoj.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the transfer of cultural references from the original (English) track into the Czech dubbing of The Simpsons show. The transfer is mainly analysed from the point of view of techniques for transferring cultural references used in dubbing in general. It analyses three different episodes from three different series of the show. The analysis of the cultural references in the selected episodes is done based on the techniques used. Each technique is explained as well as the meaning of each reference. As the thesis analyses episodes spanning the period of twenty-five years, it also maps if there is any development in the techniques used.
