Financial analysis of the Traditional brewery in Rakovník, a.s.

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá finanční analýzou Tradičního pivovaru v Rakovníku, akciová společnost. Je rozdělena na dvě části, a to na teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části vysvětlím, co znamená finanční analýza, její účel, uživatele a zdroje. Poté popíšu, jak by samotné finanční analyzování podniku mělo probíhat. V praktické části nejdříve charakterizuji Tradiční pivovar v Rakovníku, popíšu vývoj trhu piva v České republice a prakticky aplikuji to, co vysvětluji v teorii. Závěrem zjistím silné a slabé stránky společnosti, jestli je finančně zdravá a případně doporučím zlepšení.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the financial analysis of the Traditional brewery in Rakovník, joint-stock company. It is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part will explain what the financial analysis means, its purpose, users and resources. I will establish to a description of how the financial analysis of the company should take place. In the practical part I characterize Traditional brewery in Rakovník, describe developments in the beer market in the Czech Republic and practically apply what I explain in the theory. Finally, I find out the strengths and weaknesses of the company, whether it is financially healthy and recommend improvements.
