Disertační práce se zabývá problematikou participace států v operacích OSN na udržení míru. Na případu České republiky, Slovenska a Rakouska zodpovídá otázku, jak a proč se státy zapojují do udržování míru OSN: jedná se o podporu hodnot mezinárodního společenství, nebo spíše vlastních zájmů? Dissertation thesis deals with the issue of state participation in UN peacekeeping operations. Focusing on the cases of the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Austria, the thesis answers the question of how and why states participate in UN peacekeeping: is it because of their commitment to the values of the international community, or rather because of their own interests?
