Radiation doses in diagnostic angiography of cerebral arteries using computed tomography

Abstract:

Má bakalářská práce se zabývá radiačními dávkami u CT angiografie mozkových tepen. Cílem je srovnat dávky při CT angiografii mozkových tepen z přístroje CT1 a CT 2 a porovnat tyto hodnoty s diagnostickými referenčními úrovněmi. V teoretické části se zabývám tím, co to je angiografie a možnostmi provedení, anatomií mozkových tepen, jak funguje a z čeho se skládá CT přístroj a nakonec radiačními dávkami a radiační ochranou. V praktické části porovnávám dávky při vyšetření angiografie mozkových tepen z přístroje CT1 a CT2 a srovnávám je s diagnostickými referenčními úrovněmi. Do studie jsem zařadila 20 pacientů vyšetřených na CT1 a 20 pacientů vyšetřených na CT2.

Abstract:

My bachelor thesis deals with radiation doses in CT angiography of cerebral arteries. The aim is to compare the doses in CT angiography of the cerebral arteries from the CT1 and CT 2 devices and to compare these values with the diagnostic reference levels. In the theoretical part I deal with what is angiography and possibilities of implementation, anatomy of cerebral arteries, how it works and what consists of CT device and finally radiation doses and radiation protection. In the practical part, I compare the doses in the examination of cerebral artery angiography from the CT1 and CT2 devices and compare them with diagnostic reference levels. I included 20 patients examined on CT1 and 20 patients examined on CT2 in the study.
