Abstract:

Celkovým cílem práce je analyzovat vztah centrály a dceřiné společnosti a zjistit, zda a jak centrála omezuje/podporuje konkurenceschopnost dceřiné společnosti. Cílem této studie je zjistit vztah mezi standardizovanými postupy řízení lidských zdrojů a konkurenceschopností dceřiné společnosti a faktory, které ovlivňují provádění standardizace. Výsledky studie prokázaly významný vztah mezi dovednostmi zaměstnanců, selektivním zaměstnáváním, výkonností zaměstnanců a konkurenceschopností dceřiné společnosti. Bylo zjištěno, že nejvíce ovlivňují rozhodnutí o implementaci trans-fer znalostí a maximalizace zisku, zatímco historický vývoj a typ organizace ovlivňují nejméně. Teoretická část zahajuje studii a vysvětluje související pojmy standardizace řízení lidských zdrojů, faktory, které ovlivňují postupy standardizace, a empirický přehled ve zkoumané oblasti. Praktická část studie nastiňuje techniku sběru a analýzy dat, včetně dotazníků použitých ke shromáždění výzkumných otázek. Zkoumána a vyhodnocena jsou pozorování a výstupy. Studie nabízí doporučení pro výzkumníky do budoucna a také manažerské důsledky pro manažery a nadnárodní společnosti, které hodlají vstoupit na ghanský trh.

Abstract:

The overall aim of the thesis is to analyze the HQ-subsidiary relationship and identify whether and how HQ limits/supports the competitiveness of the subsidiary. This study aims to determine the relationship between standardized HRM practices and subsidiary competitiveness and the factors that influence the implementation of standardization. The study findings demonstrated a significant relationship between employee skills, selective hiring, employee performance, and subsidiary competitiveness. Knowledge trans-fer and profit maximization was identified to influence the implementation decision the most whilst the historical development and the type of organization influenced the least. The theoretical part begins the study and explains the related concepts of HRM standardization, the factors that influence standardization practices and empirical review in the study area. The study's practical section outlines the technique for data collection and analysis, including the questionnaires used to gather research questions. The observations and out-comes are investigated and assessed. The study offers recommendations for researchers in the future as well as managerial implications for managers and MNEs intending to enter the Ghanaian market.
