Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce je představit matematické techniky využívané v neživotním pojištění, a to nejen formou teorie, ale i formou řešených, případně neřešených příkladů opatřených výsledky. První kapitola obsahuje přehled diskrétních pravděpodobnostních rozdělení patřících do třídy rozdělení (a, b, 0). Jejím rozšířením získáme obecnější třídu rozdělení (a, b, 1). Druhá kapitola se věnuje diskrétním složeným rozdělením a seznamuje nás s Panjerovou rekurzí. Předmětem další kapitoly jsou směsi rozdělení. Stěžejní část práce tvoří čtvrtá a pátá kapitola zabývající se teorií rizika. Čtvrtá kapitola podrobně popisuje kolektivní model rizika, zahrnuje též aproximaci rozdělení škodního úhrnu a diskretizaci spojitého rozdělení výše pojistných nároků. Poslední kapitola studuje teorii ruinování a s ním související procesy, včetně složeného Poissonova procesu, jenž je základem Cramér-Lundbergova modelu. V případě, kdy je přímá kalkulace pravděpodobnosti ruinování obtížná, nám může být nápomocen Cramérův asymptotický vzorec a Tijmsova aproximace. V závěru práce uvedeme Brownův pohyb do souvislosti s teorií ruinování.

Abstract:

The aim of this diploma thesis is to introduce mathematical techniques used in non-life insurance, not only in a form of theory, but also in a form of solved, alternatively unsolved exercises with results. The first chapter contains the summary of the discrete probability distributions belonging to the (a, b, 0) class. By extension of the (a, b, 0) class we will gain the more general (a, b, 1) class. The second chapter is devoted to the discrete compound distributions and makes us familiar with Panjer recursion. The mixture distributions are the object of the next chapter. The fourth and fifth chapters are the key parts of this thesis, they deal with risk theory. The fourth chapter describes the collective risk model in detail, it also includes the approximation of the aggregate claims distribution and the discretization of the continuous claim amount distribution. The last chapter studies the ruin theory and related processes, including the compound Poisson process which is the base of Cramér-Lundber model. In case when a direct calculation of ruin probability is difficult, Cramér's asymptotic ruin formula and Tijms' approximation can be very helpful. At the end of this work we will connect the Brownian motion with the ruin theory.
