Alcoholism as a social phenomenon

Abstract:

Cílem této práce je seznámit se a poukázat na problematiku alkoholismu v naší společnosti a poukázat na škodlivost a nebezpečnost nadměrného užívání alkoholických nápojů v naší společnosti. První kapitola se věnuje původu alkoholu, vymezení pojmu alkoholismu jako sociálního jevu a účinky alkoholu. Další kapitoly budou věnovány závislosti na alkoholu, které budou objasňovat příčiny vzniku závislosti na alkoholu, důsledky této závislosti a možná preventivní opatření. Závěrečná kapitola je zaměřena na odbornou pomoc závislým a jejich příbuzným. Tato práce bude využitelná v praxi sociálních pracovníků jako prevence rozšiřování tohoto sociálně patologického jevu, který se objevuje ve společnosti čím dál víc.

Abstract:

The aim of this paper is to introduce and highlight the problems of alcoholism in our society and point out the danger of excessive and harmful consumption of alcohol in our society. The first chapter deals with the origin of alcohol, the definition of alcoholism as a social phenomenon and the effects of alcohol. Other chapters will be devoted to alcohol dependence , which will explain the causes of alcohol dependence , the consequences of this dependence and possible preventive measures. The final chapter focuses on the professional help addicts and their relatives. This work will be usable in the practice of social workers to prevent the distribution of socio- pathological phenomenon, which occurs in a society more and more.
