The character of comic and humour in chosen production of the ABC theatre

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce je popsat jazykovou komiku a humor Wericha a Horníčka v inscenacích Divadla ABC Balada z hadrů a Těžká Barbora. Tato práce je zaměřena na forbíny. Snaží se tento útvar definovat a popsat charakteristické prostředky jazykové komiky, které se v něm vyskytují. První část práce se orientuje na teoretické vymezení termínu forbína a dalších doplňujících pojmů. Ve druhé části je věnován prostor jazykové klaunérii Wericha a Horníčka, která je náplní forbín. Jsou zde popsány její typické rysy a její důležitost. Hlavním cílem práce je zobecnit teoretické poznatky aplikované na konkrétní útvar, forbínu, a dojít k jádru spoluhry Wericha a Horníčka v rámci tohoto polytematického útvaru, kterým je tzv. komické gesto, jež je i charakteristickým a stálým znakem i přes neustále se proměňující téma forbín.

Abstract:

The goal of this thesis is to describe the language comicality and humour of Werich and Horníček in Theatre ABC´s performances Balada z hadrů and Těžká Barbora. It´s focused on "forbíny." It aspires to define this form and describe characteristic kinds of language comicality it uses. The first part is focused on theoretical definition of "forbína" and other supplemental terms. The second part is devoted to language clownery of Werich and Horníček, the main part of "forbíny." It´s characteristic and importance are described here. The main goal of this thesis is to generalize theoretical findings, apply them on particular form, "forbína," and reach essence of Werich and Horníček´s double act in this polythematic form, "comic gesture." The "comic gesture" is characteristic and ever-present even though the theme of "forbíny" is always changing.
