The relationship between social work and volunteering in the context of working with mentally ill people

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na problematiku vzájemného vztahu mezi sociální prací a dobrovolnictvím při práci s duševně nemocnými osobami. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a výzkumnou část. Teoretická část pojednává o sociální práci s duševně nemocnými osobami, o dobrovolnictví, v rámci práce s duševně nemocnými osobami a také popisuje osoby s duševním onemocněním. Výzkumná část diplomové práce je zaměřena na kvalitativní výzkum, kde je popsána metodologie výzkumu, stanovený cíl, výzkumné otázky, volba výzkumné strategie, výběr výzkumného souboru, metoda výzkumu a technika sběru dat. Dále je popsán vstup do terénu, následuje analýza a interpretace dat. Data byla analyzována pomocí zakotvené teorie a jako zdroj bylo použito 9 polostrukturovaných rozhovorů. Závěr práce je věnován diskuzi a výsledkům výzkumu.

Abstract:

This thesis is focused on the relationship between social work and volunteering in the context of working with mentally ill people. The work is devided into a theoretical and an experimental part. The theoretical part deals with the social work with mentally sick people. The experimental part of the thesis concentrates on a qualitative research where I describe the research methodology, the established goal, the research questions, the selection of an investigative strategy and group, the exploration method and the data gathering technique. I also describe the etical predicaments and the entrance to the terrain. Then I come to the data analysis and interpretation. In the end I sum the results up in the discussion. Datas were analysed by the grounded theory. As a source I used nine semi-structured interviews. .
