Insurance of Business Risks in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Diplomová práce má pomocí systematického zpracování teoretických východisek v teoretické části seznámit čtenáře s fungováním pojistného trhu v České republice a blíže vysvětlit problematiku pojištění podnikatelských rizik. V teoretická části diplomové je dále uvedena historie a vývoj pojištění v České republice se zaměřením na další možný rozvoj. V poslední části teorie je pomocí metody dedukce vysvětlen pojem riziko, se kterým se lze setkat v rámci podnikatelské činnosti.Jako hlavní cíl praktické části diplomové práce je analyzovat současný pojistný kmen České podnikatelské pojišťovny, a.s., Vienna Insurance Group z hlediska pojištění podnikatelských rizik a jeho následné srovnání s teoretickými východisky a zjištěnými výstupy. V závěru práce jsou zjištěné informace vyhodnoceny a použity k vyhodnocení kvality, ceny a určení možného vývoje pojištění podnikatelských rizik v dané společnosti.

Abstract:

This thesis informs in the theoretical part readers about the insurance market operation in the Czech Republic by systematically analyzing the theoretical basis and it further explains the topic of business risk insurance. Further, the theoretical part presents the history and evolution of insurance in the Czech Republic with a focus on the future possible development. In the last part of the theory, the term risk, which can be encountered within business activity, is explained by using the deduction method.The main aim of the practical part of the thesis is to analyse the current insurance portfolio of Česká podnikatelská pojištovna, a.s., Vienna Insurance Group, from the perspective of business risk insurance and to subsequently compare it with the theoretical basis and the identified outputs. In the final part of the thesis, the obtained information is evaluated and used for the quality and price assessment and for the determination of the possible development of business risk insurance in the given company.
