Sources of support for young mothers

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá zdroji podpory mladých matek a jejich zkušenostmi s podporou, která jim je poskytovaná ze strany partnera, rodiny a organizací pro ně určené v době těhotenství a mateřství. Výzkumný vzorek tvořilo sedm mladých matek ve věku od 15 do 25 let. Prostřednictvím polostrukturovaných rozhovorů se zkoumalo, jaké zkušenosti mají s touto podporou a jaké jsou jejich skutečné potřeby. Z výzkumu vyplynulo, že nejdůležitější sociální podpora pro většinu matek je partner či jejich matka. Součásti této práce jsou také zjištěné skutečné potřeby mladých matek a jak ony samy vnímají své těhotenství v mladém věku.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis deals with the sources of support for young mothers and their experiences with the support provided to them by their partner, family and organizations intended for them during pregnancy and motherhood. The research sample consisted of seven young mothers between the ages of 15 and 25. Through semi-structured interviews, it was investigated what experiences they have with this support and what their real needs are. The research showed that the most important social support for most mothers is their partner or their mother. The real needs of young mothers and how they themselves perceive their pregnancy at a young age are also part of this thesis.
