Abstract:

The title of the thesis is "La Nouvelle-France en période de la guerre de Sept ans". It deals with French colony in Canada putting emphasize on the period of the French and Indian War (1756-1763). The object is to synthetize the information available about the New-France of this epoch. The thesis is devided into three parts. The historical chapter describes the evolution in the colony from its inception and the conflicts with English colonies to definitive French defeat in 1763 when England acquired the territory. The sociocultural part offers a comprehensive view of life in the New-France (living conditions, interpersonal relations, everyday activities). The third part presents the "living history" imitating the life of specific historic era. The author of the thesis is interested in living history of the New France in the middle of the 18th century. The information mentioned here is supported by maps, pictures and photographs. The thesis also contains some suggestions about its aplication in pedagogical practice.

Tato práce má název: "La Nouvelle-France en période de la guerre de Sept ans". Pojednává o francouzské kolonii v Kanadě s důrazem na období sedmileté války (1756-1763). Cílem bylo vytvořit syntézu dostupných informací o Nové Francii v tomto období. Práce má ti části. Historická část popisuje vývoj kolonie od jejího počátku a konflikt s anglickými koloniemi až po definitivní francouzskou porážku v roce 1763, kdy území přešlo pod Anglii. Sociokulturní část nabízí komplexní pohled na život v Nové Francii (životní podmínky, mezilidské vztahy, každodenní činnosti). Třetí část představuje tzv. "oživlou historii", která napodobuje život v určitém historickém období. Autorka této práce se věnuje oživlé historii Nové Francie v polovině 18. století. Informace uvedené v této práci jsou doplněny o mapy, obrázky a fotografie. Práce rovněž obsahuje několik návrh na její využití v pedagogické praxi.
