This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of green roofs in the city. The theoretical part introduces the types of green roofs, their history and, marginally, the technical requirements for roofs. Furture informs about the possibilities of greening roofs and the use of trees on roof structures. It also solves the effect of green roofs on the image of the city.
