Abstract:

Tématem bakalářské práce je problematika skupin organizovaného zločinu v Mexiku ve formě případové studie kartelu Jalisco Nueva Generación. První část je zaměřená na teoretický rámec organizovaného zločinu. Jedná se o charakteristiky organizováného zločinu, hlavní organizované zločinecké skupiny po celém světě, příčiny a důsledky organizovaného zločinu, obchod s drogami a nástroje boje proti. Druhá část popisuje drogovou scénu v Mexiku v průběhu posledních administrativ. Třetí část je zaměřena na analýzu postavení kartelu Jalisco Nueva Generación, jeho vývoj v čase, ozbrojené konflikty a diverzifikace jeho kriminálních činností. Závěrem jsou představeny vládní opatření na potlačení činnosti kartelu.

Abstract:

The topic of the bachelor thesis is the issue of organized crime groups in Mexico in the form of a case study of the Jalisco Nueva Generación cartel. The first part is focused on the theoretical framework of organized crime. It consists of the characteristics of organized crime, the main organized crime groups around the world, the causes and consequences of organized crime, the drug trade and the tools to combat it. The second part describes the drug scene in Mexico during the last administration. The third part is focused on the analysis of the position of the Jalisco Nueva Generación cartel, its development over time, armed conflicts and the diversification of its criminal activities. In conclusion, government measures to suppress cartel activity are presented.
