Aspects of using Kaizen method in condtitions of the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce "Aspekty využití metody Kaizen v podmínkách České republiky" je složena z pěti kapitol. Cílem této práce je vyhodnotit aspekty využití metody Kaizen v podmínkách České republiky. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části, teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část je obsažena v prvních třech kapitolách. Praktická část je obsažena ve zbývajících dvou. V první kapitole práce je vysvětlen význam pojmu Kaizen, rozdíly mezi Kaizen a inovací a filozofie Kaizen. Druhá kapitola se věnuje vztahu Kaizen a TQC a některé důležité nástroje používané v metodě Kaizen. Třetí kapitola obsahuje informace o pojmu Gemba Kaizen, vysvětluje co je nástroj 5S a Muda. Ve čtvrté kapitole jsou představeny dvě společnosti, které jsou z pohledu využívání metody Kaizen v ČR významné a je zde provedena SWOT analýza metody Kaizen na základě spolupráce s Kaizen Institute. V poslední kapitole se nachází výsledky dotazníkového šetření provedeného na základě spolupráce s Kaizen Institute. Konec práce je věnován vyhodnocení dotazníkového šetření a SWOT analýzy a názorům autora.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis "Aspects of using Kaizen method in condtitions of the Czech Republic" consists of five chapters. The goal of this thesis is to evaluate aspects of using Kaizen method in conditions of the Czech Republic. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. Theoretical part consists of first three chapters. Practical part consists of the remainig two chapters. The first chapter of thesis explains meaning of the word Kaizen, the differences between innovation and Kaizen and its philosophy. The second chapter focuses on the relationship between Kaizen and TQC and some of the important tools used by Kaizen method. The third chapter contains information about Gemba Kaizen, explains what is a 5S tool and Muda. In the fourth chapter two companies which are very significant in terms of using the Kaizen method in Czech Republic are introduced and SWOT analysis of Kaizen method based on cooperation with the Kaizen Institute was performed in this chapter. The last chapter contains results of the survey based on coorperation with the Kaizen Institute. End of the thesis is dedicated to evaluation of the survey and SWOT analysis and the views of the author.
