Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou mladých osob s Downovým syndromem. Je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části je shrnuta charakteristika mentální retardace a Downova syndromu. Také je zde zahrnuto vzdělávání, bydlení, partnerství a rodičovství mladých lidí s Downovým syndromem. The bachelor thesis deals with the aspects of young people with Down syndrome. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part summarizes mental retardation and Down syndrome characteristics, as well as there are included problems of education, housing, partnership or parenthood of young people with Down syndrome diagnosis.
