V bakalářské práci se zabýváme celkovou anestezií a podrobným popisem možných komplikací. Teoretická část popisuje historii anestezie, základní rozdělení a průběh celkové anestezie. Přehledně charakterizuje nejčastěji používané farmaka, základní pomůcky, předoperační vyšetření a zajištění průchodnosti dýchacích cest typické pro anestezii. The purpose of this thesis is to gain an in depth understanding of general anaesthesia and its possible risks and complications. The theoretical part deals with the history of anaesthesia, the types of anesthesia and its stages.
