The bachelor thesis aims to describe the estimation of a single parameter for selected distributions by the Bayesian approach. The difference between this approach and the frequentist approach is that the parameter is viewed as a random variable instead of a constant. Cílem bakalářské práce je popsat odhad jednoho parametru u vybraných rozdělení bayesovským přístupem. Tento přístup spočívá v tom, že parametr vnímá jako náhodnou veličinu a ne jako konstantu, jak je tomu u frekventistického přístupu.
