Mentoring Programme of the Project "Start right"

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá mladými dospělými, kteří opustili dětské domovy a při osamostatňování měli možnost spolupracovat s mentory z projektu Začni správně. Bakalářská práce se dále zabývá potížemi, se kterými se mladí dospělí po odchodu z ústavní péče potýkali. Bakalářská práce je rozdělena do dvou částí, teoretické a praktické. Teoretická část je zaměřena na základní terminologii v oblasti mentorství, objasňuje pojem mentor, mentee, definuje rodinu, přiblíží pojem náhradní rodinné péče, představí vybraná zařízení ústavní výchovy, blíže dětský domov a přípravu na samostatný život v dětských domovech. Dále představuje obecně prospěšnou společnost YOURCHANCE a její program Začni správně. V praktické části je popsán samotný kvalitativní výzkum. Pro získání dat byl použit polostrukturovaný rozhovor. Výzkumné šetření pomocí polostrukturovaných rozhovorů bylo provedeno u mladých dospělých, kteří opustili ústavní výchovu a u mentorů z projektu Začni správně.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis deals with young adults who have left children's homes and had the opportunity to work with mentors from the Start Right project during selfemployment. The bachelor's thesis also deals with the difficulties that young adults faced after leaving institutional care. The bachelor thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part focuses on basic terminology in the field of mentoring, clarifies the concept of mentor, mentee, defines the family, introduces the concept of alternative family care, introduces selected institutions, institutional home, and preparation for independent living in children's homes. It also introduces the non-profit company YOURCHANCE and its Start up program. The practical part describes the qualitative research itself. A semistructured interview was used to obtain data. The research survey using semi-structured interviews was conducted among young adults who left institutional education and among mentors from the Start the Right project.
