Theoretical analysis of fragmentation channels for ionized rare gas clusters

Abstract:

Cílem této práce je výzkum rozpadových kanálů ionizovaných klastrů vzácných plynů- argonu, kryptonu a xenonu. Na začátku byly vygenerovány klastry vzácných plynů o požadované velikosti a následně byly vibračně excitovány a ionizovány. Dále se sledovala celková energie klastru a byla porovnávána s možnými kombinacemi vzniknuvších fragmentů (energetická analýza). Generování klastrů probíhalo metodou Monte Carlo. Simulace fragmentací klastrů byly provedeny metodou molekulární dynamiky. Byl také využit nový multiscale model, jehož výsledky byly porovnány s experimentem.

Abstract:

The aim of this work is to research decay channels of ionized clusters of rare-gas argon, krypton and xenon. At the beginning there were generated clusters of rare gases of the desired size and subsequently vibrationally excited and ionized. In addition we watched the total energy of the cluster and it was compared with possible combinations of formed fragments (energy analysis). The generating of clusters was held by Monte Carlo method. The simulation of clusters fragmentation was carried out by molecular dynamics. There was also used a new multiscale model and results were compared with experimental data.
