Abstract:

Tématem této bakalářské práce je analýza bezpečnosti a funkčnosti platebních karet, jako bezpečného bezhotovostního platebního instrumentu, a jejich postavení při zajišťování platebního styku. Práce hodnotí opatření vydavatelů platebních karet, která zajišťují jejich bezproblémové fungování, a klade důraz na zajištění jejich bezpečnosti. Na základě celkové analýzy platebních karet a bezpečnostních rizik jsem došel k závěru, že je možné vyvodit jistá ponaučení a nápravná opatření, kterými se dá dosáhnout vyšší bezpečnosti platebních karet. Ukazuje, že významnou roli při nápravě bezpečnostních ohrožení mají mezinárodní karetní asociace. Cílem práce je analyzovat tyto bezpečnostní rizika a zároveň zjistit faktory, které hrály významnou úlohu při jejich realizaci.

Abstract:

The topic of this thesis is an analysis of credit cards' safety and functionality as a safe credit transfer instrument and their role when ensuring clearing. The thesis evaluates precautions made by credit cards` issuers, which ensure their trouble free operation and puts the stress on thein safety assurance. Based on the profound analysis of credit cards and safety risks this thesis reached a conclusion that it is possible to draw out certain lessons and corrective measures, which enable to reach a higher credit cards` safety. It shows that international card associations take significant part in a safety menace correction. The aim of the thesis is to analyse these safety risks as well as find out all the factors which played an important role in their implementation.
