The importance of depreciation of fixed assets in the calculation of the full cost of social services

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá problematikou kalkulací v oblasti sociálních služeb. Cílem práce je vytvořit kalkulaci konkrétní sociální služby, resp. jejího uživatele, a zjistit jaký vliv mají odpisy. Teoretická část je zaměřena na veřejný sektor, sociální služby zejména v České republice a jejich účetnictví. Nákladové účetnictví a problematika kalkulací přechází až do praktické části. Na konkrétní organizaci je v závěru práce aplikován kalkulační vzorec a rozebrány nedostatky a doporučení autorky.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the calculations in the field of social services. The goal is to create a calculation of specific social services, or its users, and analyse the effect of depreciation of fixed assets. The theoretical part is focused on the public sector, social services, in particular in the Czech Republic and their accounting. Management accounting and costing methods passes up to the practical part. In the end of the thesis the author applied the specific type of cost calculation on the real organisation, discussed the shortcomings and recommendations.
