The thesis focuses on the analysis of the elements of film language in selected works of Soviet and German directors in twenties of the twentieth century. Predmetom bakalárskej práce je analýza prvkov filmovej reči na vybraných dielach sovietskych a nemeckých režisérov dvadsiatych rokov dvadsiateho storočia. Práca porovnáva teoretické východiská minulých ale aj súčasných autorov na problematiku reči v nemých filmoch.
