Proposal of Measures to Support the Integration of Foreigners in the Selected Company

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce je představit návrh na podporu integrace cizinců ve vybrané firmě. V rámci řešení byla použita deskriptivní statistika doplněná kvantitativní analýzou polostrukturovaných rozhovorů. Podstatou analýzy bylo zjistit bariéry v procesu integrace cizinců ve vybrané společnosti. Provedeno analýzou byly potvrzeny teoretické poznatky v oblasti bariér integrace, s kterými se cizinci setkávají. Analýza dále potvrdila, že největší bariérou v oblasti integrace cizinců je jazyková bariéra. Bariéra představuje největší překážku u jejich integrace. Na základě poznatků z provedené analýzy bylo navrženo opatření, které má usnadnit, zlepšit nebo také odbourat identifikovanou bariéru, se kterou se cizinci potýkají. Za přínos práce je považován smysl podpory integrace cizinců a pomoc k odbourání integračních bariér.

Abstract:

The aim of the diploma thesis is to introduce a proposal for measures to support the integration of foreigners in a selected society. Descriptive statistics supplemented by quantitative analysis of semi-structured interviews were used in the solution. The essence of the analysis was to identify barriers in the process of integration of foreigners in the selected society. The analysis confirmed the theoretical knowledge in the area of integration barriers encountered by foreigners. The analysis also confirmed that the biggest barrier in the process of integrating foreigners is the language barrier. The barrier represents the biggest barrier to their integration. Based on the findings of the analysis, measures were proposed to facilitate, improve or also break down the identified barrier faced by foreigners. The contribution of the thesis is considered to be the sense of promoting the integration of foreigners and helping to break down integration barriers.
