Changes in regulation and supervision on the Czech capital market as a result of the global crisis

Abstract:

Hlavním cílem mé práce je vznik a vývoj českého kapitálového trhu a jeho regulace a dohled v důsledku světové krize. Zaměřením se na samotný vznik, historii a vývoj kapitálového trhu v České republice. Dalšími cíly jsou legislativními základy a změny v legislativě regulace a dohledu v ČR, moderními přístupy a systémy regulace a dohledu ke zlepšování fungování českého kapitálového trhu se spoluprací mezinárodních organizací. Zmiňuji se o novém uspořádání dohledu nad finančním trhem v EU v rámci spolupráce evropských orgánů dohledu nad finančním trhem, kde se ČNB vyjadřuje v řadě stanovisek dohledu. Dále se budu věnovat nejrozšířenějším finančním derivátům, monitorováním s tím spojených rizik a používanými metodami, nástroji regulace a dohledu nad českým kapitálovým trhem. Dalším cílem je vysvětlit podstatu plnění z FRA a jeho využití, subjekty sjednávající FRA. V poslední části se budu věnovat reakcí ČNB na aktuální vývoj v oblasti regulace a dohledu kapitálového trhu v ČR.

Abstract:

The main aim of my work is the creation and development of the Czech capital market and its regulation and supervision due to the global crisis, by focusing on the very origin, history and development of the capital market in the Czech Republic. Some goals of the legislative bases and changes in legislation, regulation and supervision in the Czech Republic are modern approaches and systems of regulation and supervision to improve the functioning of the Czech capital market with the cooperation of international organizations. I will mention this new organization of financial supervision in the EU in the framework of the cooperation between European financial market supervision, where the Czech National Bank has expressed a number of opinions in sight. Furthermore, I will discuss the most common financial derivatives, monitoring of the risks involved and methods used tools for regulation and supervision of the Czech capital market. Another aim is to explain the essence of the performance of Forward Rate Agrement (FRA) and its using, entities arranging FRA. In the last section, I will discuss responses from the Czech National Bank on current developments in the regulation and supervision of the capital market in our country.
