Předmětem zkoumání je vývoj charakteru jedné z hlavních postav, Amy March. První část vysvětluje postavení žen v 19. století, poskytuje reflexi autorky na ono období, a zabývá se teorií adaptace. This bachelor thesis provides a comparative analysis of four movie adaptations of Louisa May Alcott’s Little Women. It examines the character development of one of the main characters, Amy March. The first part explains the position of women in the 19th century, provides Alcott’s reflection on the notion, and deals with the theory of adaptation.
