Diabetes mellitus 2. typu (DM2) je chronické onemocnění, jehož prevalence v posledních letech výrazně vzrůstá. Prezentovaný soubor prací poskytuje komplexní prospektivní zhodnocení souboru pacientů s časnými stádii DM2 a prediabetu a jeho srovnání s kontrolním souborem zdravých normoglykemických dobrovolníků.
