Selected aspects influential oil on to world economy in the process of globalization

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce s názvem ?Vybrané aspekty vlivu ropy na světové hospodářství v procesu globalizace? je poukázat na současné globální problémy související s touto surovinou a naznačit perspektivu světové ekonomiky v závislosti na ropě a najít alternativní možnosti. První kapitola je věnována současnému energetickému a surovinovému problému v souvislosti s neustále rostoucí spotřebou energií. Druhá část je věnována charakteristice produkčních a dodavatelských oblastí v celosvětovém měřítku a roli organizace zemí vyvážejících ropu. V další části se zabývám ropnými šoky a jejich dopady na světové hospodářství, analyzuji zde globální situaci na ropném trhu a vybraná hlavní centra na poptávkové straně trhu. Poslední kapitola je věnována subjektivní úvaze o perspektivě světového hospodářství z hlediska závislosti na ropě a hledání alternativních možností. Pokud nenajdeme v nejbližších desítkách let adekvátní substitut ropy, můžeme si být jisti, že dojde k zintenzivnění boje o tuto surovinu, který může vyvrcholit i válečným konfliktem.

Abstract:

The aim of thesis entitled "selected aspects of the impact of oil on the world economy in the process of globalization" is to suggest the current global problems related with this raw material and indicate the perspective of the world economy in dependence on oil and to find alternative options. The first chapter is devoted to the current energy and surovinovému the issue in the context of the ever-increasing energy consumption. The second part is devoted to the particular characteristics of production and supply areas worldwide and the role of the Organization of petroleum exporting countries. In the next section, I explore the oil shocks and their impact on the world economy, analyzing here the global situation on the oil market and selected the main centre on the demand-side of the market. The last chapter is dedicated to a subjective reflection on the perspective of the world economy in terms of dependence on oil and the search for alternative options. If we don´t find in the next few decades, an adequate substitute for oil, we can be sure that there will be an intensification of the fighting of this raw material, which may culminate in the war conflict.
