The Comparison of Two Diaries from Leo of Rozmital´s Journey

This bachelor thesis deals with comparison of two travel diaries narrating about Leo of Rozmital's journey, which were written by two of his companions. In order to understand how an idea of a journey occurred to him and what his aim was the historical background in Bohemia and the whole Europe is described at the beginning of this paper. Abstract:
Tato závěrečná práce se zabývá porovnáním dvou deníků z cesty Lva z Roţmitálu, jeţ byly napsány dvěma jeho společníky. Abychom pochopili, jak k nápadu cesty do východní Evropy došlo a jaký cíl Lev z Roţmitálu onou cestou sledoval, je na začátku práce popsáno historické pozadí v Čechách a v celé Evropě. Oba cestovní deníky jsou porovnány, analyzovány a jejich rozdíly interpretovány.
