Collective Investment in Slovak Republic during the Crisis and its Future Trends

Abstract:

Date of submission : 2016 Number of pages : 63 The aim of bachelor 's thesis is to refer to different yield development during the crisis period by means of quantitative analysis and comparison of selected financial funds and equity mutual funds and also to provide recommendations for potential investor in the future. First chapter describes theoretical definition of collective investment with emphasis on legislative aspects, characteristics of collective investment subjects and also segmentation of mutual funds with subsequent reference to the actual advantages and disadvantages of collective investment. Second chapter consists of analytical part where we address analysis of collective investment during the crisis period / 2007-2009 /. Here we choose two types of funds,which are selected stock fund and financial fund and compare the situation on the market and the influence of the crisis on its yield. In the third chapter we assessed the situation regarding the the collective investment and perspective of its future development and moreover we adopted conclusions with measure proposals and further development in the future. We finish the last chapter with an investment recommendation for potential investor.

VAŽANOVÁ, Iveta: Kolektívne investovanie v SR v období krízy a jeho vývoj v budúcnosti.[Bakalárska práca]. Bankovní inštitut vysoká škola Praha, zahraničná vysoká škola Banská Bystrica. Katedra finanncií a bankovníctva. Vedúci práce Ing. Ľubomír Pintér, PhD. Rok obhajoby: 2016. Počet strán: 63 Cieľom bakalárskej práce je prostredníctvom kvantitatívnej analýzy a komparácie vybraných fondov peňažného trhu a akciových podielových fondov poukázať na rozdielny vývoj výnosnosti v období krízy a poskytnúť odporúčania pre potenciálneho investora do budúcnosti. Prvá kapitola je venovaná teoretickému vymedzeniu kolektívneho investovania s dôrazom na legislatívne aspekty, charakteristiku subjektov kolektívneho investovania, ako aj členenie podielových fondov s následným poukázaním na samotné výhody a nevýhody kolektívneho investovania. Druhá kapitola tvorí analytickú časť, v ktorej sa venujeme analýze kolektívneho investovania v čase krízy (roky 2007 - 2009), kde na základe výberu dvoch typov fondov a to vybraného akciového a peňažného fondu, porovnávame situáciu na trhu a vplyv krízy na ich výnosnosť. V tretej kapitole sme zhodnotili situáciu v oblasti kolektívneho investovania a perspektívy jeho ďalšieho vývoja, kde sme prijali závery s návrhmi opatrení a ďalšieho vývoja do budúcnosti. Kapitolu sme ukončili investičným odporúčaním pre potenciálneho investora.
