The aim of the final thesis is to analyze to what extent usual determinants of economic growth are also determinants of incomes of the poorest. The first chapter consists of theoretical definitions of economic growth, poverty and income inequality. Cieľom diplomovej práce je odpovedať na otázku, do akej miery sú obvyklé kľúčové faktory hospodárskeho rastu, ktoré sa dajú kvantifikovať, aj determinantmi príjmov chudobných vrstiev obyvateľstva. Prvá kapitola sa venuje teoretickému vymedzeniu pojmov hospodársky rast a chudoba.
