Práce se zabývá tím, jak vybranou událost, návštěvu Taiwanu americkou političkou Nancy Pelosiovou, prezentují taiwanská média. Ta bývají často politicky orientována na jednu ze dvou nejsilnějších politických stran (nebo koalici, které tyto strany tvoří) na Taiwanu. Lze je takto rozdělit na pro-čínská a pro-taiwanská média. Abstract:
This thesis deals with the topic of Taiwanese media and how they portray an event of US politician Nancy Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan. Media on Taiwan are often politically oriented toward one of the two strongest political parties (or coalition of these parties) in Taiwan.
