This bachelor thesis is focused on the Fnr protein and its influence on bacterial metabolism. The theoretical part describes its structure, mechanism, and occurrence of the Fnr/Crp family homologous proteins. Táto bakalárska práca sa zaoberá proteínom Fnr a jeho dopadom na metabolizmus baktérií. V teoretickej časti je popísaná jeho štruktúra, mechanizmus pôsobenia a výskyt homológnych foriem z rodiny Fnr/Crp u rôznych zástupcov bakteriálnej ríše.
