This thesis summarizes the practical applications of the Trinder reaction – a chromogenic end reaction in spectrophotometric analysis in numerous clinically important analytes. In our routine clinical laboratory practice, we found a case of a drug induced interference in a new enzymatic method utilizing Trinder reaction from the medication Dicynone.
