Stage lighting in The Clockwork Orange Production

Abstract:

Světlo v inscenaci Mechanický pomeranč je primárně technickou dokumentací světelné složky projektu Mechanický Pomeranč, který byl v sezóně 2017/2018 uveden v Divadelním studiu Marta Janáčkovy akademie múzických umění v Brně. Práce se dělí na šest kapitol, přičemž první kapitola přibližuje umělecký záměr inscenace a to z pohledu režisérky, scénografky a světelného designéra. Další kapitola se zabývá inscenačním týmem a průběhem zkoušení. Třetí kapitola se věnuje světelné koncepci inscenace a typům využitých svítidel. Navazující kapitola je pak samotným popisem rozmístění svítidel v prostoru a jejich fokusu. Pátá kapitola mluví o zapojení a systému řízení svítidel a o programování jednotlivých světelných změn. Poslední kapitola je pak věnována hodnocení inscenace a práce na ní z pohledu autorky práce.

Abstract:

Stage lighting in The Clockwork Orange Production is primary a technical documentation of the lighting part of The Clockwork Orange project, which was performed in the theatre studio Marta of the Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Brno as a part of the theatre season of 2017/2018. The documentation is divided into six chapters, where the first chapter presents the artist intent of the director, stage designer and lighting designer. The next chapter presents the production team and the rehearsal process. Third chapter is dedicated to the lighting concept of the production and to the types of the used lights. The following chapter is documenting the light plot and focuses. Fifth chapter is about the connections and the light control system and is also a description of the process how lighting cues were programmed. The final chapter reflects the project and the work on it from the point of view of the author of this documentation.
