Cinematic Techniques in Pornography

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce pojednává o výrazových prostředcích v žánru pornografie. Pojímá téma z obecného hlediska, zkoumá použití kamery, střihu záběrů, mizanscény a zvuku. Hlavním cílem práce je zjistit preference konzumentů pornografického obsahu z hlediska typu obsahu a výrazových prostředků v něm použitých. Dalším cílem je zjisit, jakým způsobem s výrazovými prostředky pracuje při tvorbě audiovizuálního obsahu vybraný tvůrce. V rámci cílů byly stanoveny hypotézy, jejichž platnost je ověřena v praktické části práce. Teoretická část seznamuje čtenáře s tématem pornografie a výrazových prostředků. Z obecného hlediska vysvětluje pojmy mizanscéna, kamera, zvuk a střih, a dále rozebírá jejich významy v audiovizuální tvorbě a způsoby práce s nimi. Tím poskytuje čtenáři kontext potřebný k pochopení praktické části této bakalářské práce. Praktická část se skládá ze dvou kapitol. Dotazníkové šetření zkoumá preference konzumentů audiovizuálního pornografického obsahu. Řízený rozhovor nahlíží na pornografii a výrazové prostředky z pohledu tvůrce pornografického obsahu. Volba tvůrce je podpořena výsledky dotazníkového šetření a rešerší dostupných zdrojů týkajících se pornografie. Cíle práce byly naplněny a je zjištěna platnost jednotlivých hypotéz. Výsledky výzkumu jsou sepsány v příslušných kapitolách.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with cinematic techniques in the genre of pornography. It approaches the topic from a general point of view, examining the use of camera, editing, mise-en-scene and sound. The main aim of the thesis is to find out the preferences of consumers of pornographic content in terms of the type of content and the means of expression used in it. Another aim is to find out how the selected creator works with the cinematic techniques in the creation of audiovisual content. Within the framework of the objectives, hypotheses have been set, the validity of which is tested in the practical part of the thesis. The theoretical part introduces the reader to the topic of pornography and means of expression. It explains in general terms the concepts of mise-en-scene, camera, sound and editing, and discusses their meanings in audiovisual production and the ways of working with them. This provides the reader with the context needed to understand the practical part of this BA thesis. The practical part consists of two chapters. The questionnaire survey explores the preferences of consumers of audiovisual pornographic content. The guided interview views pornography and the cinematic techniques from the perspective of the creator of pornographic content. The choice of the creator is supported by the results of the questionnaire survey and a search of available sources on pornography. The objectives of the thesis have been met and the validity of each hypothesis is established. The results of the research are presented in the relevant chapters.
