Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se soustředí na výuku anglického jazyka pro jednotlivce. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části. První část je část teoretická, jež vymezuje základní pojmy spojené s individuální výukou a výukou dětí a dospělých. Dále je představena role učitele a také studenta v takto vedené hodině. Jako další jsou prezentovány různé přístupy k dělení učebních stylů s hlavním zaměřením na VAK model, kterým se zabývá praktická část bakalářské práce. V závěru jsou specifikovány učební styly a jejich efektivní využití ve výuce jednotlivců. V druhé, praktické části, e popsána metoda, jejímž prostřednictvím byl zjišťován učební styl žáka a jeho individuální potřeby. Podle výsledků z dotazníkového šetření je vypracována ukázková lekce Na základě pozorování a rozhovorů se studenty je zpracován závěr, jehož cílem je dokázat, zda hodina přizpůsobená potřebám a učebnímu stylu žáka více vyhovuje, ve smyslu pochopení látky, motivace a přístupu žáka. Zjištění této práce mohou sloužit jako pomůcka pro doučování anglického jazyka

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focuses on Teaching English to individuals. Firstly, it consists of the theoretical part which clarifies the basic terminology connected teaching one-to-one, teaching children and adults, roles of the teacher and the learner. In the following chapter, the different interpretations of learning styles are presented but the primary focus of this thesis is on the VAK model of learning styles. At the end of the theoretical part, the implications of learner´s needs and learning style for teaching English to individuals are described. Secondly, it includes the practical part focused on finding out the learner´s learning style and needs using the questionnaire and propose convenient learning strategies with activities in the sample lesson. The sample lesson executed during the private teaching school is monitored in pedagogical journal, examined and evaluated regarding the aims. In addition to the pedagogical journal, the analysis of the data from interviews with the learners will be included. The findings of this thesis can serve as basis aid for tutoring English language to young and adult learners.
