Abstract:

Diplomová práce Medijní inspirace a surrealita – od spiritismu k automatické tvorbě se zabývá možnostmi automatické tvorby vycházejícími ze spiritismu a jejich následným rozvojem v rámci surrealismu Jana Švankmajera. Přesahuje do více uměleckých oborů propojených hledáním cest k autentickému projevu bez autocenzury, vyumělkovanosti a opakování zažitých postupů.V textu jsou rozebíráni autoři, kteří bez vědomé kontroly tvořili v literatuře, v malířství a ve filmu. Mezi jinými Gustav Meyrink, Josef Váchal, František Kupka, Jan Zrzavý, Bohumil Kubišta nebo Jaroslav Panuška. Výše uvedené obory zastřešuje osobnost Jana Švankmajera, kladoucí důraz na komplexitu filmového tvůrce (film musel být nejprve příběhem, hudbou i obrazem propojených v symfonii dílčích prvků).Práce se ptá po dílech za hranicemi racionality, toužících po zaznamenání a tryskajících z nitra autora bez jeho větší regulace. Nabízí scenáristům nové podněty k nalézání námětů i k samotnému psaní. Přináší inspiraci režisérům a dalším filmovým profesím v alternativnímu přístupu při procesu natáčení. Především ale tento text oslavuje svobodu tvorby a radost ze zkoumání jejích spletitých cest.

Abstract:

The Diploma thesis The Inspiration Comes from Mediums and Surreality - From Spiritualism to the Automatic Creation deals with automatic creation within the movement of spiritism and its development within surrealism of Jan Svankmajer. It covers more artistic fields interconnected with searching for ways how to express themselves without self-censorship, affectation and repeating well-known techniques.This text is focused on authors, whose engaged in creating without conscious control in literature, painting and film. Including, but not limited to work of Gustav Meyrink, Josefa Vachal, Frantisek Kupka, Jan Zrzavy, Bohumil Kubista or Jaroslav Panuska. These different fields are related to Jan Švankmajer, who points out complexity of the author (there must be a story, photography and music ahead of cinematography).The thesis asks for possibilities of creation, which breaks the limits of rational plans. It offers impulses how to find new subjects and to the writing itself to scriptwriters. It affords original ways of the shooting process to filmmakers. Above all, the thesis exalts the freedom of creation and the joy of exploring its winding ways.
