Pre-hospital Emergency Care of a Patient with Epilepsy from Perspective of a Paramedic

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je na téma Přednemocniční neodkladná péče o pacienta s epilepsií pohledem zdravotnického záchranáře. Práce se skládá z teoretické a praktické části. Teoretická část se zabývá epileptickými stavy v přednemocniční péči jejich charakteristikou léčbou a také zřídka jinými křečovitými stavy v PNP. Obsahem praktické části této bakalářské práce jsou čtyři kazuistiky tematicky zaměřené na pacienta s epileptickým nebo křečovým stavem. Všechny kazuistiky obsahují výjezd záchranné zdravotnické služby a práce v přednemocniční péči křečovitého stavu, dvě z toho představují výjezd k epileptickým záchvatům a dva k podezření na epileptické záchvaty. Důraz je kladen na popis postupu a podání léčby v přednemocniční péči a profesionalitě zdravotnických záchranářů. Hlavním cílem je přiblížit a rozšířit znalosti o problematice o přednemocniční neodkladné péči o pacienta s epilepsií pohledem zdravotnického záchranáře.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is on Pre-hospital emergency care of the patient with epilepsy through the eyes of a paramedic. The thesis consists of a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part deals with epileptic conditions in pre-hospital care their characteristics treatment and also rarely other convulsive conditions in PNP. The practical part of this bachelor thesis contains four case studies thematically focused on a patient with epileptic or convulsive condition. All of the case studies include an emergency medical service call and work in the pre-hospital care of a convulsive condition two of which represent a call to epileptic seizures and two to suspected epileptic seizures. Emphasis is placed on describing the procedure and administration of treatment in prehospital care and the professionalism of paramedics. The main objective is to introduce and expand knowledge on the topic of pre-hospital emergency care of the patient with epilepsy through the perspective of the paramedic
