Mycobacterium tuberculosis je patogenní bakterie, která svoji obranu proti imunitnímu systému hostitele zakládá mimo jiné na buněčné stěně. Tato práce se zabývá vybranými hypotetickými proteiny z M. tuberculosis CDC1551 s cílem nalézt glykosyltransferasy, které se podílí na stavbě buněčné stěny, díky čemuž jsou zajímavými terapeutickými cíli v boji proti této bakterii. Abstract:
Mycobacterium tuberculosis is a pathogenic bacterium. Its cell wall protects it against the immune system of the host. This thesis deals with selected hypothetical proteins from M. tuberculosis CDC1551 to find glycosyltransferases that are involved in cell wall synthesis.
