Práce se věnuje zahraničním výzkumům na téma industriální archeologie, Velká Británie, USA, Kanada a Austrálie. Také vývoji industriální archeologie jako oboru. Dále se věnuje vlastnímu výzkumu v oblasti industriální archeologie v České republice. A to zaniklému dolu ve Vinařicích u Kladna, jeho historickému kontextu a jeho archeologickým transformacím.
