Aspects of teaching content of population protection in emergency situations.

Abstract:

Tématem diplomové práce je společensky velmi významná tématika ochrany obyvatelstva a mimořádných událostí, která se dostává nyní do popředí celosvětového zájmu. V úvodu je popsána úroveň znalostí žáků středních škol z této oblasti vzdělávání. Diplomová práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části je popsána obsahová stránka výuky, která zahrnuje významná témata z oblasti ochrany obyvatelstva a mimořádných událostí. Praktická část se zabývá zjišťováním úrovně vědomostí žáků od prvního až po čtvrtý ročník střední školy. Na základě aplikace pre-testu a post-testu je provedeno srovnání vědomostí žáků, které měli žáci před seznámením se zkoumanou problematikou a po realizaci výuky zaměřené na ochranu obyvatelstva a mimořádných událostí. Odpovědi jsou vyhodnoceny a výsledky zpracovány do tabulek a grafů. V závěru je konstatováno, že po výuce zaměřené na ochranu obyvatelstva a mimořádné události došlo k výraznému posunu ve znalostech žáků týkajících se těchto témat, což je pro jejich budoucnost velmi důležité. To, že se budou umět orientovat v této problematice, může zachránit život nejen jim, ale i dalším lidem.

Abstract:

The topic of this diploma is the socially very important theme of population protection and emergencies, which are now getting into the forefront of global concern. The introduction describes the level of knowledge of secondary school pupils from this area of education. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part describes the content of lesson instructions, which include important topics in the field of population protection and emergencies. The practical part is focused on determining the level of knowledge of school pupils from first to fourth year of high school. A comparison of students' knowledge before the familiarization with the issue and after the training lessons of population protection and emergencies is made through aimed pre- and post tests. The answers are evaluated and the results are processed into tables and graphs. The conclusion states that after the teaching lessons focused on protecting the population and emergencies it came to a significant shift in the knowledge of the students concerning these subject, which is very important for their future. The fact that they will be able to understand this issue could save the lives of not only them but also the lives of other people.
